Kitchen Remodel for Entertaining

Kitchen Remodeling in Metro West Boston

The homeowner is a single professional who wanted to completely renovate her home to reflect her style and way of life. She wanted to add space and perform updates that would enhance the comfort and functionality for herself and her family who visit often.

The existing dining room was sacrificed to add more space for the kitchen and bar area. The island design fully utilizes the space by including seating, sink area, dishwasher, microwave and one of the two ovens. The use of tile on the floor makes this well trafficked area easier to maintain. Features such as the hand blown glass pendant lights, gray quartz countertops, coffee colored glaze on the cabinets and backsplash pattern with accent tiles give this space a unique, warm and sophisticated feel.

This whole house remodel included the addition of a master bedroom suite over a two car garage, a great room and a study, and the expansion and remodel of the kitchen. Other renovations included remodeling two full bathrooms, the replacement of all windows and doors, building a new deck and interior and exterior painting.

Design details were very important to this homeowner who wanted “nothing ordinary”.
